Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example…in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”

Brothers and Sisters in Christ
BASIC is Sunday evenings and offers an exciting program with a wide variety of activities. It is designed to give you practical help with the challenges you face in life every day. We cover a wide range of topics that allows you to see how God can fit in to your life.
The Youth Center opens at 5:32 pm to just hangout and spend time making friends. Opening activities/games begin at 6:04 pm and our Bible study starts at 6:18 pm. Snacks follow at 7:11 pm and we’re done by 7:30 pm.
CrossWalk is designed to be a more in-depth small group study of the Bible to make it even more personal. Learning to be a consistent follower of Christ takes commitment. If you choose to participate in CrossWalk you will commit yourself to study, apply, learn and share.
Studies are on-going and last anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on the topic of choice. Look for the sign up sheets.
Camps and Retreats
We participate with other youth from across the state each fall (Junior High Weekend) and each spring (Senior High Weekend) in a retreat at Eagle Eyrie Conference Center outside Lynchburg.
We attend a week-long camp during the summer called Fusion. We partner with about 15 other churches at Ferrum College to study, pray and play. This is a week in which we can challenge ourselves and be challenged to grow in God.
An important part of what we do in Youth Ministry. We go “hands on” as we participate in rehabilitating homes and lives regionally/nationally through World Changers. We are involved in local missions through our association. We have served in places as far north as Canada and as far south as Argentina.
